Meeting the Divine Mother in All Things
My spiritual path is rooted in the living traditions of Shakta, Yogini, and Tantric streams within Hinduism - lineages that recognize the Divine as Shakti: the primordial, all-pervading feminine force. At the heart of my practice is devotion to Kali, the fierce and compassionate Mother who both creates and dissolves all things.
In this path, the Goddess is not separate from the world - she is the world. Ancient texts echo this truth, as seen the in Devi Mahatmya;
To the Goddess who abides in all beings as devotion…
we bow again and again.
To the Goddess who abides in all beings as the Mother…
we bow again and again.
To the Goddess who abides in all beings as consciousness…
we bow again and again.
Within the Shakta tradition, the Goddess is understood as the ultimate reality, both transcendent and immanent. Tantra offers the tools to experience her directly: through body, breath, mantra, and the sacred recognition that nothing is outside of her.
My connection to this path has been shaped through years of devotion, study, pilgrimage, and lived experience. Kali Ma, for me, is both deeply personal and infinitely vast.
Jai Maa! Jai Maa! Jai Maa!
